Carla Briceno

As CEO and Co-Founder of Bixal, Carla works closely with the Bixal Team, an unparalleled group of strategists, designers, and technologists, to help its agency partners build human-centered experiences that reach communities, transform organizations, and improve lives. Bixal focuses its efforts in the Federal Government space because that is where its work has the broadest reach. Carla’s early career began as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Guatemala — an eye-opening experience that exposed her to the challenges that people face around the world. Since that time, Carla directed a non-profit program for Latino immigrants, supported countless international development activities in Latin America, and dived headfirst into technology as a developer and digital project manager. Carla holds a master’s degree in International Development and Advanced Spanish from Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, a Certificate in Business Programming from the Chubb Institute and a a Bachelors degree in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from California State University, Long Beach.
